Oye Vecino is a location-based community app that helps people stay connected with their neighborhood, family, and nearby services through real-time alerts and an interactive map.
The challenge
The challenge was to bring local alerts, family updates, neighborhood activity, and nearby services into one simple experience without overwhelming the user with information.
What we built
We designed a map-first mobile experience where users can quickly understand what is happening around them, create and discover local alerts, stay connected with family areas, and find nearby services. The product was built with a scalable backend and location-aware architecture to support real-time community interactions.
